About the Project and the Process

The vision behind this project was to create some light within the struggle - a place that reminds children and their families that even in the midst of pain, there is still room for hope.

The playground offers young patients who spend long days in treatment a chance to step outside, breathe fresh air, move, play, and imagine freely.

A small space that holds a whole world of hope, where play becomes a universal language of connection and healing.

The Psagot Playgrounds team is proud to have taken part in a project that reminds us all what truly matters - to give a moment of joy to those who need it most. Every detail was carefully chosen - from cheerful colors to musical tones and soft shading - all designed to radiate happiness, peace, and life.

This is one of those rare projects where professional design meets the human heart.

Highlights/Uniqueness of the Project

Design Concept

The design draws inspiration from worlds of imagination, tenderness, and hope.

The playground walls are painted with balloons, butterflies, and open skies,

creating a sense of freedom even within an enclosed hospital space.

At the center stands a large Hot-Air Balloon tower with slides, serving as an exciting focal point full of adventure.

Around it are nest swings, a carousel, balancing and spring elements,

and outdoor musical instruments inviting children to create new sounds every time they play.

As evening falls, the main wall lights up with a vibrant glow featuring the words I ❤️ RL -

the initials of the organization that commissioned the project for the hospital.

It stands as a symbol of love, life, and gratitude to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life.

Every design element was created to bring light to the eyes and warmth to the heart,

turning a hospital courtyard into a world where children can play, laugh, and dream.

Design Intentions

From the earliest planning stages, the emphasis was on creating a space that radiates empathy, compassion, and genuine joy.

The client requested a playground suitable for children in a wide range of physical and emotional conditions - patients in treatment, those in recovery, siblings, and children accompanying their loved ones.

A place for everyone - to play, to rest, or simply to sit together.

This vision led to a design based on harmony between color, movement, and sound -

a playground that tells a story of embrace, support, and the healing power of play.

It is an honor for Psagot Playgrounds to have been chosen to design and build such a meaningful and life-affirming project

The Process

The Psagot Playgrounds team accompanied the project from concept to completion,

working in close collaboration with the hospital staff and the commissioning organization.
